US Firm Barbara’s Bakery Gets Face-Lift PDF Print E-mail

Californian bakery, Barbara's, has unveiled new packaging and product lines at the Natural Products Expo.

From June, the bakers will stock Barbara's high fibre cereal available in three varieties: Original, Cranberry and Flax and Granola, containing omega-3.

All cereals contain a minimum of 40 per cent of daily fibre requirements and are 50 per cent whole grain.

A new logo, nutritional highlights and gourmet food photography will be added to 55 of Barbara's product line packaging.

And only sustainable Green Choice, the US's only certified recyclable paperboard, packaging will be used.

Furthermore the bakery has joined forces with renowned chef, Ann Cooper, known as the ‘renegade lady', and website, thelunchbox.org, to produce healthier school lunches.
