Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients (LCI) claims a new white wheat concentrate can enhance taste and flavour.

The ingredient, is suitable for use in bread, precooked loaves, whole wheat crepes, croissants, breadcrumbs, pasta biscuits and breakfast cereals.

Furthermore the wheat is free of artificial additives and colours and is produced from white wheat varieties specifically selected from Limagrain's fully traceable breeding programme.

A patented hydrothermal treatment process, called Farigel, which modifies the intrinsic properties of natural cereals, is used to produce the less bitter, light coloured ingredient.

LCI is part of Group Limagrain, the EU's largest seed breeder.
