AB Mauri, a group of yeast and bakery ingredient companies, has hired a regional president of North America for AB Mauri Fleischmann's.

Scott Meader previously was president and chief executive officer of St. Louis-based Milnot Holding Corp., which owns the Beech-Nut brand of baby food, for more than 10 years.

He currently serves as chairman of the board for Nellson Nutraceuticals L.L.C., a provider of nutrition bars, dry blends and healthy snacks and based in Irwindale, Calif., and Eurofresh, Inc., a greenhouse tomato grower in Willcox, Ariz.

Meader received a degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., and a master's in business administration at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
