The International Bakery, Pastry and Related Industries Show, INTERSICOP 2011, is making the final preparations for the staging of its ninth edition.

This event, long-awaited by all members of the industry, presents some excellent prospects: more than 200 participating companies, around 300 represented companies and an exhibition area measuring some 33,000 square metres.

INTERSICOP is a trade event organised by IFEMA and will present all the latest technological developments within the industry at Feria de Madrid between 24th and 28th March 2011.

INTERSICOP also promises some favourable results regarding the attendance of trade visitors from the industry. In this respect, in order to ensure the strong attendance of professionals from the field, the fair is working intensely on its Visitors Programme, which already has some 60,000 entries.

With this project INTERSICOP aims to boost the number of visitors at the fair, both from Spain and abroad. Each and every one of the visitors who attended previous editions is receiving detailed information regarding the event, as well as being offered the opportunity to take advantage of the fair's Hotel and Transport Programme, which is organised through the auspices of the Official Travel Agency for INTERSICOP, VIACFAIRS.
