Wire Belt has introduced the EZSplice^TM strand that provides rapid installation and repair of Flat-Flex® open-mesh, stainless steel belting.

EZSplice is a single pre-formed, pre-shaped strand made to fit the width and mesh of your belt. This offers you longer belt life, stronger belt joints, and less downtime from failures at the splice, which saves time and money.

Designed to simplify joining and splicing of continuous loop conveyor beltings, EZSplice installs in four simple steps and eliminates the intricate weaving of traditional splicing and replaces it with a simple hook and loop method, saving you time.

The strength of the EZSplice strand comes from the pre-shaped "Z-bend" joints. This eliminates the chance of weak points from the bending and straightening of traditional splicing. Once installed the strand is locked into place by simply crimping down the Z-bend joints of the EZSplice with our Engineered Profiling Pliers, giving the strand proper positioning.

EZSplice strands are simple to link into Flat-Flex conveyor belts and are available in various configurations to fit specific wire sizes and belt designs. The EZSplice patented system will reduce splicing times by as much as 80 percent, improves maintenance efficiencies, significantly reducing downtime, and enhancing safety on your shop floor.
