WORKERS from the closure-threatened Burton's factory in Moreton, UK, took the campaign to save their jobs on the road this month.

Their open-topped Biscuit Battle Bus toured Moreton, rallying support for the workers' plea that the company honours its agreement and does not destroy 342 jobs.
The workers from the site, their families, and their union, Unite, stood together to resist the proposed closure of the Pasture Road site.
Unite believes the company is preparing to abandon its commitment to support the site and renege on its 2007 agreement of a minimum five years guaranteed work and to turn Moreton into a 'flag ship' site.
The union's former general secretary and executive officer, Tony Woodley said: "I am disgusted that a business such as Burton's Foods is threatening to move the goal posts on a deal agreed by myself and its loyal and efficient workforce that guaranteed work until at least 2012!
"Unite will accept nothing less than Burton's agreement - to honour their commitment to the site and our members. This is as much about the future of communities as it is about securing individual jobs.
"The consequences of closure will be devastating for this area.
"This is why our fight back starts now. This company made a commitment, and I give you my union's commitment that we are going to hold them to their words.
"We are launching a petition across the country to rally support from communities so we can keep these jobs at Moreton."
