Wheat export chance for Turkmenistan PDF Print E-mail
Written by admin

For the first time ever, Turkmenistan has got an opportunity to export high-quality wheat to the world market, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said.

"This was made possible owing to the phased implementation of the new agrarian policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which provides for state support to farming and incentives for farmers," the press service said.

"Turkmenistan has made another important step in strengthening its economic power, which is a reliable basis for its involvement in addressing the problem of global food security as envisaged in the UN Millennium Development Goals declaration," the report says.
