Bauducco Opens Largest U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Florida
Bauducco, a Brazilian brand known for producing cookies, wafers, and baked specialty goods announced it has recently opened a manufacturing facility in Zephyrhills, Florida. The facility officially opened in late June. This new site helps the company to operate at double the production capacity of what the brand previously had available for the American market.
The facility sits at 160,000 square feet and brings state-of-the-art production technology, helping the company streamline the supply chain, shorten lead times, and respond to retail demands with greater speed and precision than ever before. The campus is designed to scale beyond 1.2 million square feet of production and distribution capacity.
Bill Cronin, the CEO of Pasco Economic Development Council, which is a company that played a facilitation role in bringing Bauducco to Zephyrhills, states: “Bauducco’s decision to expand in Zephyrhills and create 600 jobs is a tremendous win for Pasco County. These are the kinds of opportunities that change lives and provide quality jobs for our residents while strengthening our local economy. Bauducco, founded in Brazil in 1952, is one of the world’s largest producers of baked goods, globally. They have been doing business in the U.S. for more than 20 years and are currently exporting to more than 50 countries worldwide.
