Commercial Bakeries Corp., a leading producer of private label cookies and crackers, has announced its acquisition of Hollandia Bakeries Ltd. and The Good Food Company Inc., expanding its footprint in the North American baked goods market.
This strategic move adds to Commercial Bakeries’ growing portfolio and builds on its May 2024 acquisition of Imagine Baking. The company, backed by private equity firm Graham Partners since September 2023, is capitalizing on increased demand for high-quality, private label snacks.
Based in Mount Brydges, Ontario, Hollandia Bakeries has been producing seasonal, soft-baked, and everyday cookies since 1954. Its facility includes multiple cookie production lines and advanced packaging capabilities, positioning the combined business to better serve retailers and consumers.
“We are excited to announce this strategic partnership,” said Dan Simile, President of Hollandia Bakeries. “This deal brings enhanced management support and investment that will help us scale while continuing to meet the high expectations of our customers.”
Commercial Bakeries CEO Shawn Warren added, “We’re thrilled to welcome the Hollandia team into our growing network. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver on our promise of ‘Baking Up Better’—every day and in every way.”
The acquisition aligns with Commercial Bakeries’ strategy to grow through targeted investments in high-demand product segments across North America.
