McCormick Outlines Executive Team Ahead of Unilever Foods Integration 

Following the deal between McCormick and Unilever to do a USD65bn merger that was announced in March, the companies have now announced a new executive team and operating model. The deal is expected to close in early 2027.

When the companies combine, McCormick will reorganize into four commercial divisions: Americas Consumer, International Consumer, Global Food Service, and Global Flavor. Brendan Foley is set to remain chairman, president and CEO of McCormick, while Marcos Gabriel will also still be executive vice president and CFO.

Other executive presidents will be responsible of each division, with Andre Foust representing Americas Consumer, Heiko Schipper for International Consumer, Nuria Hernandez for Global Food Service, and Suzanne Roy at Global Flavor.

Brendan Foley stated: “Our planned operating model is designed to place consumers and customers at the center of the combined business, enabling disciplined execution, enhanced innovation, and sustainable long-term growth, while supporting a rewarding employee experience, […] Our anticipated Executive Team will bring together proven leaders from both McCormick and Unilever Foods, from a diverse set of backgrounds and skill sets, and with deep knowledge of our brands, categories, customers, and geographies, positioning us well to capitalize on our expanded global platform, realize expected synergies, and create value for all stakeholders.”

McCormick is also planning to seek a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange to complement its existing listing on the New York Stock Exchange, Foley announced. The combined company is planned to have an international headquarters, in the Netherlands, while the McCormick Hunt Valley global headquarters will be maintained in Maryland.
