ASEMAC Becomes Official Alimentaria FoodTech Collaborator
ASEMAC, also known as the Spanish Association of the Bakery, Viennoiserie and Pastry Industry, have signed a collaboration agreement with Alimentaria FoodTech for the upcoming edition of the trade fair, which will take place from October 6 to 8 at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue. The event is set to bring together approximately 400 exhibiting companies.
Jorge de Saja, Secretary General of ASEMAC, stated: “Technological innovation is one of the main drivers of competitiveness in our industry. This agreement enables us to bring our companies closer to the solutions that are transforming food production processes and to strengthen the presence of the bakery, viennoiserie and pastry sector at one of our country’s leading forums for food innovation.”
Under this agreement, ASEMAC has become one of Alimentaria FoodTech’s partner organizations. The collaboration will give member companies access to the latest technological solutions applied to the bakery, viennoiserie and pastry industry in areas including automation, digitalization, energy efficiency, sustainability, food safety and new ingredients. It will also facilitate ASEMAC’s participation in knowledge-sharing spaces such as FoodTech Innovarena, where some of the main challenges facing the future of the food industry will be addressed.
In addition, member companies will be able to benefit from various advantages during the trade fair, including professional accreditation and the opportunity to participate in industry activities and meetings.
