Messe Düsseldorf and Morocco’s Fédération Nationale de l’Agroalimentaire (FENAGRI) will launch Morocco Food World in the second half of 2027, establishing a new international trade fair for the country’s food industry.
The event will bring together companies from across the agri-food value chain, including food manufacturers and processors, suppliers of processing and packaging technologies, ingredient companies, service providers, investors and international buyers.
Morocco Food World will mark Messe Düsseldorf’s first trade fair in Morocco and forms part of the organizer’s continuing expansion in the MENA region. Messe Düsseldorf said growing investment and Morocco’s position between European and African markets are supporting demand for modern food processing and packaging technologies.
The Moroccan food industry includes significant fruit and vegetable, seafood and processed food exports, while the country also imports grain, edible oils, animal feed and dairy products. More than 60% of Morocco’s food imports and exports are conducted with the European Union, according to Messe Düsseldorf.
FENAGRI will support the event through its domestic industry network. The federation brings together 15 sector associations and more than 2,600 companies, representing an estimated 40–50% of the Moroccan market.
The organizers said Morocco Food World is intended to create a platform for business development, investment, technology exchange and international partnerships while strengthening links between Moroccan food companies and international suppliers.
