European bakery products manufacturer Baker & Baker is launching a new Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Cookie, which has been created to build excitement in the run up to Easter.
The playful new limited-edition cookie is baked fresh in-store and combines a delicious Cadbury’s chocolate cookie dough, which is then packed with micro Mini Eggs. It is the first time that Baker & Baker has utilized the Cadbury Mini Eggs brand within fresh bakery.
The first bespoke Easter brand to enter the fresh bakery category, the Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Cookie has been launched as an indulgent sweet treat for families to celebrate the Easter season.
The cookies are presented in a paper bag sporting Cadbury’s Mini Eggs eye-catching branding, with each bag containing four cookies. The product will be launching into Tesco, Asda and Co-op from 12 February.
The Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Cookies will complement the three existing flavors in the Cadbury fresh cookies in-store bakery range, which includes Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate & Orange, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel.
Seasonality is becoming more prominent within fresh bakery and Easter is now a key time for retailers thanks to an expanded sales period and longer lead times into the Easter break.
