Crespel & Deiters Launch New Colored Crumbs for Breading and Toppings

Crespel & Deiters are launching a new product called Lory Crumb Colored, a range of colored crumbs for breading and toppings. The crumbs are designed to be used for coating meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, cheese, plant-based products, and for topping snacks and baked goods.

Birgit Wessner, Product Manager at Crespel & Deiters, said: “Colored Crumbs give product developers and marketers a tool that helps attract attention and makes products stand out from the crowd, […] Color becomes a communication tool for brands, occasions and target audiences. And because the natural colorants do not affect the flavor, such creative freedom does not require any recipe adjustments.”

According to the company, the crumbs are sugar-free and flavor-neutral, therefore not interfering with the taste of the finished product and work with all common substrates. They are available in green, pink, yellow, orange and white.
