Eggo Introduces New Zero Sugar Waffles
Eggo recently announced their new product called Eggo Zero Waffles, which features two flavors: buttermilk and blueberry. The product is set to enter stores at the beginning of July this year and it will be available across the USA. The product will be available for an SRP of $5.99 per 8-ct box. The company says they decided to come up with this product to fit their consumers’ lifestyles without them having to give up certain foods.
The waffles contain 0g of added sugar, with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors. The buttermilk flavor features 12g of complete protein, and the blueberry one delivers 11g, while also containing real blueberries.
The product is also said to contain all nine essential amino acids in the recommended amounts per gram of protein and is sweetened with monk fruit and stevia extract. Clients are advised to consume the waffles toasted or topped with fresh fruit.
Eggo is an American company owned by Mars Snacking’s portfolio of brands that specializes in producing breakfast foods, such as a variety of waffles, frozen pancakes and cereal.
