Harry-Brot Expands anno 1688 Range with Seeded Wheat Bread  

Harry-Brot, a German bread manufacturer, is expanding its premium “anno 1688” range with a mixed wheat bread with flaxseed and pumpkin seeds. The product will be available starting October 5 across Germany.

The bread will be available in 500g packs and the recommended retail price is EUR2,59.

Reportedly, the company’s anno 1688 range is performing well and has increased its sales by 28.3% year to date (May 2026), compared to last year.

The company stated that the decision came due to a growing demand for hearty breads and claims that they are trending, since the segment recorded a 20.3% increase in sales and a 14.2% increase in year to date (May 2026), compared to the previous year, just like their own range has grown in the same time period.
