King’s Hawaiian is launching Maple Brown Sugar Rolls, a limited-edition seasonal variety that will begin rolling out at retailers across the US on October 1. The new rolls are positioned for breakfast, brunch and seasonal recipe applications, as well as for eating directly from the package.
Raouf Moussa, Chief Marketing Officer at King’s Hawaiian, stated: “At King’s Hawaiian, we’re always trying to find new reasons for people to come together and share a meal, whether we’re introducing a new occasion, a fun flavor or an innovative product offering. But the one thing that never changes is the irresistible taste and softness of our rolls that consumers know and love.”
Alongside the bakery launch, King’s Hawaiian is extending the seasonal concept through a collaboration with chocolate brand Compartés. The companies have developed a limited-edition chocolate bar combining pieces of King’s Hawaiian Maple Brown Sugar Rolls with milk chocolate infused with maple and topped with brown sugar.
King’s Hawaiian is also introducing a limited-edition merchandise collection featuring a Maple Brown Sugar Roll-themed sweatsuit, blanket and scented candle.
King’s Hawaiian is a family-owned bakery brand founded in Hilo, Hawaii, by Robert R. Taira. Its portfolio includes Hawaiian rolls, slider buns, hamburger buns and pretzel bites.
