K-Food will take the spotlight at Anuga 2025, with Korea selected as the event’s official partner country. The world’s largest food trade fair will run from October 4–8 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) Frankfurt Office will host the Korea Pavilion, where more than 60 exporters will showcase the diversity of Korean agri-food. Exhibits will span traditional products such as kimchi and fermented sauces (jang) to emerging categories like ready-to-eat meals, snacks, beverages, and frozen seafood.
Alongside product displays, the pavilion will feature live cooking demonstrations, tastings, and liquor sampling sessions, giving international buyers and visitors first-hand experience of Korean food culture. One-on-one business meetings are also scheduled to strengthen trade opportunities with global distributors and foodservice operators.
Organisers expect Korea’s role as partner country to accelerate international interest in K-Food, building on the global popularity of the Hallyu wave, which has expanded from K-pop and entertainment into consumer goods and cuisine.
Anuga 2025 will bring together around 7,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries, making it a key platform for Korean companies to expand their global reach and competitiveness.
