EBM In Integration Move

From January 1, 2009, EBM Techniek BV will integrate with VMI Holland BV.The activities of EBM Techniek will continue within the VMI Group as a separate product group – EBM Product Handling Systems. Both EBM and VMI are full subsidiaries of the TKH Group in Haaksbergen.

The decision to integrate was made to better utilise the synergies between the two machine companies. With the relocation of EBM to the VMI Holland BV industrial park in Epe in 2007 expansion occurred and allowed the two companies to carry out larger projects together. The cooperation between EBM and VMI turned out to be very successful and has resulted in the decision to merge both companies into one legal entity.

In this way EBM will obtain the required scope and capacity to continue its product development and worldwide sales and service. With the establishment of EBM Product Handling Systems, VMI also secures the knowledge and experience necessary to carry out far reaching automation improvements within the tire and rubber industries and in particular by utilizing the robotic product processes so renowned within the product handling industries.

EBM is specialised in product handling systems and remains, also within the new structure, active in a few selected Food and Non-Food markets. These markets are; Industrial Bakery, Convenience Foods, Non-woven and Special Handling. EBM has more than 60 years of experience in the handling industry and 30 years utilizing robotic techniques.
The integration of EBM with VMI creates worldwide market possibilities for the products they have developed.
