IBATECH 2016, the most comprehensive bakery technology fair in the region, will host in Istanbul, companies from four continents and 20 countries.
Organized by Messe Stuttgart Ares Fuarcılık, IBATECH will be held April 14-17 on a total area of 50.000 sqm in Hall 1, Hall 2, Hall 3, Hall 4, and Hall 8 at Istanbul Expo Center (CNR Expo), Turkey.
The Fair is supported by EKMADER (The Association of Bread and Bakery Products Machine Manufacturers) and GIDAKAT (The Association of Food Additives Manufacturers).
Direct participants have included companies from Germany, Italy, France, Greece, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, Netherlands, China, Spain, Iran, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Lebanon. For the first time this year, German National Participation will take place.
Infrastructure preparations for IBATECH 2016 had started from the ending time of the previous fair. Compared to the previous years, there has been a rapid increase in the number of fair booths sold for IBATECH 2016, proving the potential in the region once again. For this reason, every year, an additional Hall is included to contribute to the growth of the sector. Other than previous years’ participating companies, the number of new participating companies is quite high.
More than 250 companies have already become exhibitor of the Fair, which will stage the latest innovations in bakery, patisserie, ice cream and chocolate industries, and started to send invitations to their visitors within the scope of fair preparations.
As a result of the studies launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Purchasing committee country profiles for 2016 have already been settled.
Fair promotion activities have been carried out for two years in domestic and foreign industry-specific magazines and other media channels.
This year, IBATECH, with the cooperation of Euro-Toques Turkey and World Inclusion Platform Turkey, will open doors to a social responsibility project.
Different types of bakery and bread products from the Eastern Anatolia, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean Regions will be produced and presented.
