Preparations for ISM 2026 are already pointing to another successful edition of the world’s leading trade fair for sweets and snacks. Early bird bookings have surpassed expectations, with exhibition space up more than 10% compared to the previous year, according to organiser Koelnmesse.
“The strong early bird result reflects the industry’s great trust in ISM,” said Sabine Schommer, Director of ISM. “Together with the international sweets and snacks industry, we are continuing to write ISM’s success story.”
Despite persistent market challenges, including volatile raw material prices, the fair continues to attract strong interest from major global players, SMEs and newcomers alike. Confirmed exhibitors for 2026 include leading brands such as Baronie, Canel’s, Colombina, Elvan, Fini, ICAM, Katjes, Loacker, Trolli, Valor, Want Want China and many others.
A key highlight for 2026 will be the launch of ISM Functional Sweets, a dedicated area responding to growing consumer interest in health, wellness, and functional food. The section will spotlight products such as collagen-enriched gum, vitamin gummies, and botanically formulated confectionery, reinforcing ISM’s role as a trend leader in the industry.
Alongside returning formats like Creator Day and Sweet Week Talks & Tasting Stage, ISM is also introducing ISM Ingredients—a new feature dedicated to raw materials and semi-finished products. This will debut alongside the co-located ProSweets Cologne, providing a comprehensive 360° platform that spans the entire value chain of the confectionery sector.
ISM 2026 will take place in Cologne from 1–4 February 2026.
