Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing will showcase a range of science-backed ingredients targeting cognitive and holistic wellbeing at Vitafoods Europe 2026, highlighting growing consumer interest in mental performance and brain health.
According to the company, online searches for cognitive health-related terms have increased by an average of 156% between 2021 and 2024, while supplement launches featuring brain and mood benefit claims are also rising. Givaudan’s own research indicates that 71% of consumers believe maintaining mental focus during physical activity improves performance.
At the exhibition, Givaudan will demonstrate its Cereboost ingredient through an interactive driving simulator based on research conducted with race car drivers. The simulation aims to illustrate how the ingredient can support cognitive performance, attention and mood.
Alongside Cereboost, the company will present several other ingredients from its wellbeing portfolio. These include Zensera, a lemon balm extract designed to support cognitive performance under stress; Lifenol, a hops extract targeting menopausal comfort and bone health; Pacran, a cranberry-based ingredient supporting urinary tract health; and Svetol, a green coffee extract developed for weight management and metabolic health.
The ingredients will be demonstrated in a variety of product concepts, including gummies, instant drinks and powdered beverages. Examples include Focus Bites gummies containing Cereboost, LiveWell instant drinks with Lifenol, Zenshot formulations featuring Zensera, and ProSlim protein powder drinks containing Svetol.
Givaudan will also host a presentation titled “Performance starts in the mind: Racing drivers test Cereboost” at the New Ingredients Theatre on 5 May, where company experts will discuss research findings on cognitive performance and reaction time.
Visitors can learn more about the company’s ingredient portfolio and product concepts at booth #3257 during the event.
