Corbion Puts Clean-Label Reformulation in Focus at IBIE 2025

Corbion will spotlight its latest clean-label solutions at IBIE 2025, addressing one of the most pressing challenges for commercial bakers: reformulating with simple, transparent ingredients without compromising quality, shelf life, or efficiency.

The company’s fermentation-based portfolio targets persistent industry hurdles such as ingredient complexity, waste, and consumer demand for naturally derived products. Among the highlights will be the launch of Ultra Fresh Plus 100, a label-friendly alternative to synthetic emulsifiers that preserves softness, sliceability, and freshness while reducing waste on the line. Corbion will also present its expanded range of natural mold inhibitors and acidifiers, designed to extend shelf life without synthetic preservatives.

Beyond formulation, Corbion is supporting better-for-you product development, enabling bakers to bring high-protein, low-sugar, and fiber-rich options to market without sacrificing eating quality. The company will also share insights into emerging consumption patterns, including the impact of GLP-1-related appetite shifts and the rise of functional snacking.

Corbion’s experts will contribute to the State of the Baking Industry Panels and IBIEducate sessions, covering themes from sustainable food systems to future bakery innovation. On the show floor, attendees can sample clean-label bakery applications and connect with the team during daily Happy Hours. A special toast will be held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Women’s Bakery, a social enterprise supported by Corbion.

By combining technical expertise with practical innovation, Corbion aims to help bakers simplify reformulation while protecting product performance and staying ahead of evolving consumer expectations.
