International FoodTec Brasil changes its name, when it will open its doors in August 2016 for the second time, in Anutec Brasil.
“We would like the compact name Anutec to generate a clear worldwide brand positioning of our foreign events in the FoodTec segment,” explains Denis Steker, Vice President International/Foreign Trade Fairs of Koelnmesse GmbH. |
At its premiere last summer, International FoodTec Brasil already underlined that Koelnmesse fulfills its commitment to quality even abroad.
In August 2014, 81 vendors from nine countries convened on 6,595 gross square metres of the Expo Unimed Curitiba fairgrounds, an information and business platform unique to the region for the production, processing and packaging of foodstuffs with a focus on meat, poultry, fish and cheese. With around 3,000 regional and international trade visitors attending, the fair ensured strong business momentum. As the second largest producer of beef and the third largest producer of poultry worldwide, Brazil is playing an increasingly important role in international markets. At the same time, the country leads the ranking as the largest exporter of poultry and poultry products.
As part of Anuga FoodTec, which takes place in March, Koelnmesse, in cooperation with Broggini, a specialist for international companies interested in expanding into the Brazilian market, is organizing a panel discussion on market entry strategies, legal and fiscal aspects as well as import procedures and customs regulations in Brazil.
Alongside Fabrizio Broggini (Chief Financial Officer, Broggini), speakers will also be Ulrich Klemm (Solicitor Of Counsel, Luther), Florian Steinmeyer (Advisor, America, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), Michael Teschner (Chief Financial Officer, Multivac do Brasil) and Johnnie Erichsen (Senior Vice President & CCO, Cabinplant).
