Ferrero has introduced a peanut-based extension to its hazelnut cocoa spread range in North America, marking the first flavour expansion of the brand in more than six decades.
The new product combines the established hazelnut cocoa profile with roasted peanut notes, targeting growth in the spreads and snacking segment. The launch reflects ongoing efforts by manufacturers to diversify portfolios and respond to evolving consumer preferences for hybrid flavour profiles.
According to the company, the product is positioned for everyday consumption occasions, including sandwiches and snack applications, and is designed to maintain the texture and spreadability associated with the core range.
The rollout is supported by a marketing activation in New York, where a temporary pop-up event will promote the product through consumer engagement and sampling. The product is now available across major US retail channels.
