Koenig Introduces New Industrie Rex Evo EC Dough Divider And Rounder

Koenig has introduced the Industrie Rex Evo EC, a new dough dividing and rounding machine developed for industrial bakeries requiring high output, weight accuracy, hygiene, and simplified operation.

The company said the new machine builds on more than 60 years of experience in dough processing and was developed with a focus on “maximum production output with minimum complexity”. Its compact design and intuitive operation are intended to reduce training requirements and operator errors, while also freeing up production space in industrial bakeries.

According to Koenig, the Industrie Rex Evo EC incorporates the suction-dividing principle in a system designed to process a wide range of doughs uniformly, with high weight accuracy and consistent product quality. The company said the system enables gentle and precise dough division while supporting stable and reliable production.

The machine also features Koenig’s Easy Clean Design, based on open construction, large access panels, and a clear separation between the drive and dough areas. The design is intended to simplify cleaning and support higher line availability in daily operation.

The Industrie Rex Evo EC covers a weight range of 28 to 280 g in a single machine and can reach an hourly output of up to 24,000 pieces. Koenig lists weight accuracy at ±1%, depending on the dough. The machine also includes a flexible changeover system for different products and weight ranges, a modern 10-inch touch panel, and an integrated control cabinet within its compact footprint.

Its modular design and quickly interchangeable components are intended to give bakeries greater flexibility when handling different product types and weights. Koenig said this allows manufacturers to improve capacity utilization while maintaining reproducible product quality.

The Koenig Group supplies bakery machines, ovens, and bread roll lines to bakeries worldwide. Founded in 1966, the company employs approximately 800 people and operates production and sales facilities in Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, and the United States, supported by a global network of sales and service partners.
