Euroma will return to SNACKEX in June with a focus on flavour development for savoury snacks, including seasoning concepts designed to support salt and sugar reduction without diminishing taste.
The company will exhibit at stand 525 during SNACKEX 2026, which takes place on 17 and 18 June in Lisbon, Portugal. The event, organised every two years by the European Snacks Association, is dedicated to the salty snacks sector and brings together professionals from across the industry.
Under the theme “Flavour without compromise,” Euroma will present flavour propositions based on its expertise in herbs and spices. The company said the showcase will focus on taste, innovation and healthier formulations, with concepts intended to demonstrate how snack manufacturers can respond to changing consumer expectations while maintaining product appeal.
A key part of the presentation will be Euroma’s work on salt and sugar reduction. Visitors will be able to taste a paprika seasoning developed to deliver a full flavour profile while lowering sodium content. The company said the concept is intended to show that reduced salt levels do not necessarily have to result in a less satisfying eating experience.
Euroma will also present flavour trend concepts, including bold and unexpected seasoning ideas. At the previous edition of SNACKEX, the company attracted attention with playful creations such as a toothpaste-inspired flavour. This year, Euroma said it will again focus on distinctive, conversation-starting tastes created through herbs and spices.
Application consistency will also be highlighted. Euroma said its flavour solutions are developed to perform across different snack types, including potato chips and coated nuts, and across varying production conditions. The company supports this work through in-house R&D, process knowledge and a dedicated sensory panel of professional tasters.
In addition to standard propositions, Euroma offers tailored flavour development in collaboration with customers. The company combines market insights, trend data and technical expertise to support partners from concept development through to production.
Euroma will also take part in the SNACKEX Science Hub. Jaimy van de Steenoven will present the session “Less Salt, Less Sugar, More Flavour!” on Wednesday, 17 June, at 10:00. The session will examine how herbs and spices can be used as natural alternatives to salt and sugar while maintaining taste.
The company’s participation follows a recent refresh of its brand identity and reflects its stated international growth ambitions. Euroma positions its flavour development work around the promise: “Adding flavour to everyday life.”
