Sales Boost For Luxury Bakers

Luxury bakery manufacturer, the Real Good Food Company, is set to double its size amid reports of a 15 per cent sales growth.

The high end baking business, worth £22 million, supplies products to companies including Costa Coffee, Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.

Unlike other luxury bakers, the Real Good Food Company has bucked national declining trends with a reported 15 per cent growth at their Hayden’s bakery in Devizes, Wiltshire, UK.

The company now hopes to double the bakery’s size within the next four years.

Investment in equipment and personnel are expected to be discussed with suppliers before an expansion plan is formulated over the coming year.

In 2008 the Real Good Food Company took £218 million in sales. It expects to report profits, excluding tax, of 25 per cent above current for 2009.
