In March 2017, INTERNORGA, the European trade fair for the entire out-of-home market, will feature familiar highlights, including the Newcomers Area, the Pink Cube trend form, Café Future, Ice Cream World, the DEHOGA Forum, the Baker’s Blue Box, BACK Stage and Confectionary Art.
From March 17th to 21st, industry representatives will gather in Hamburg once again for INTERNORGA 2017. As before, the 2017 fair will occupy the entire fair complex. Space assignment for the exhibition halls is in progress. An expected 1,300 exhibitors from 25 nations will showcase current and future hot culinary trends. The Next Chef Awards cooking competition and the Gastro Startup competition were met with such enthusiasm last time that the organizers decided immediately after INTERNORGA 2016 to repeat these events in 2017. What’s more, the Craft Beer Arena will be even bigger this time. Visitors can also look forward to gaining fascinating insights at the accompanying conferences, where international experts will be discussing current hot topics in the industry and leaving plenty to talk about.
Competition a roaring success
The Next Chef Awards cooking competition for innovative young chefs will return in 2017. Star-studded chef Johann Lafer, the initiator of the competition, is already looking forward to challenging young culinary talents to give their best at the fair. The Next Chef Awards competition provides them with a unique opportunity to make their mark and present their professionalism to an expert audience and top flight jury, while also giving their careers a boost. Similarly, the Gastro Startup competition, organized in cooperation with the Leaders Club Germany, will return after a successful debut. It offers a platform for young restaurateurs to present their innovative concepts in 2017 and get off to a good start in the gastronomy market.
From next year onwards, INTERNORGA will reduce its duration by one day, with the 2017 event running from Friday, March 17, to Tuesday, March 21.
