ACI Group earns Silver Social Value Quality Mark

UK-based distributor and supply chain specialist ACI Group has been awarded the Silver Social Value Quality Mark (SVQM), recognising its efforts to support local communities, reduce environmental impact, and promote social value within its supply chain.

The Social Value Quality Mark CIC, an independent social enterprise, assesses organisations across four levels of accreditation that reflect increasing maturity in social value development and reporting. The Silver certification positions ACI among the UK’s leading distributors in demonstrating measurable social responsibility.

To achieve the award, ACI provided evidence of a strong value-driven culture and processes aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) best practices. The company’s initiatives include carbon reduction measures, community engagement, and staff development programmes.

ACI was the first UK distributor to achieve SVQM certification in 2022 and has since continued to advance through the programme’s higher levels. The company also recently received an Ecovadis Bronze award, placing it within the top 35% of assessed businesses for sustainability performance.

According to Huw Evans, Director of Quality at SVQM CIC, ACI’s achievement “demonstrates that meaningful change is both possible and necessary,” highlighting the firm’s contribution to building a more sustainable and inclusive supply chain.
