Baker Neuhauser acquires BCS
French industrial baker Neuhauser International has finalised the acquisition of counterpart BCS for an undisclosed sum.
Neuhauser president and CEO Laurent Bour said the takeover has received regulatory approval and will create France’s premier bakery group, reported just-food.

BCS has an annual turnover of EUR110m (US$156.9m), employs 630 staff and operates eight production sites. Its current president, Jean-Luc Couturier, will continue at the helm.
Neuhauser has been investing in growth of late and earlier this year completed a EUR20m investment programme to increase production at its plant in Sainte Hermine.
