New International Sales Manager for Baker Perkins’ Biscuit Business

British equipment supplier Baker Perkins has appointed Gerard Nelson as international sales manager for biscuit business.

Nelson is returning to Baker Perkins after eight years working for other companies in the industry. His recruitment as International Sales Manager follows the recent return of David Welch as chief engineer for the biscuit business at Baker Perkins.

Nelson worked in a similar role at Baker Perkins for five years until 2011. “Over my time away from the company, I’m pleased to see that Baker Perkins has completed new design projects in key areas, including a patented servo-driven wirecut, a new rotary molder, a sheet forming and cutting system, the new HiCirc oven, and an encapsulation system for filled cookies and bars,” he says.
