Family-run Ginger Bakers has added a Chocolate, Coffee & Hazelnut Cake to its existing vegan range. The UK’s Lake District business was inspired to launch the new products by the increase in demand it has received for dairy-free and egg-free sweet desserts. The rich chocolate and coffee cake is made with plain chocolate, artisan coffee roasted by local coffee specialist Rinaldo’s, roasted hazelnuts, and topped with a generous helping of chocolate fudge and tempting hazelnut frosting.
Ginger Bakers have seen a rise in demand for vegan sweet treats, with well over 3.5 million Brits now following a plant-based diet.These numbers are set to rise even further, especially in the aftermath of the current pandemic, which has seen a dramatic increase in the demand for vegan products from consumers, according to the company.
The new Ginger Bakers Chocolate & Hazelnut cake bake is available across the UK through their online shop and joins their existing range of vegan cake flavors.
