pladis has launched a new Chocolate flavor addition to its McVitie’s Toasting Waffles range. The company has also brought three new additions to its cake portfolio, McVitie’s Moments White Choc & Raspberry Crunch, McVitie’s Club Honeycomb Cake Crunchies and McVitie’s Hobnobs Peanut Butter Fudge Flapjack.
Available this month in the UK’s Tesco with an MRSP of GBP1.30, McVitie’s Chocolate flavor Toasting Waffles is promoted as perfect for breakfast or as a snack on-the-go.
Claire Hooper, head of marketing for McVitie’s Cake Company at pladis UK&I said: “On the go breakfast is a growing trend and exciting new products are helping to fuel that growth. McVitie’s Toasting Waffles are hugely popular with consumers and we’re delighted to be building on this success with a second flavor.’’
On the other hand, the new cakes are available now across Grocery and Convenience channels with MRSPs between GBP1.65 and GBP1.70. Both the Club Honeycomb Cake Crunchies and the Hobnobs Peanut Butter Flapjacks are individually wrapped and available in packs of five, making them perfect as a lunchbox snack or for on the go. The Moments White Choc & Raspberry Crunch, available in packs of four, make the coffee shop style trend accessible at home, either for a ‘me time’ moment or to share with friends and family.
The packaging for all this new assortments is recyclable via pladis’ partnership with Terracycle.
