Unifine Looks to Melt Hearts with Sweet Selection

Unifine is hoping to help melt loved ones’ hearts this Valentine’s Day with a range of chocolate and sugar treats.

The food ingredients company has stocked up on Glamour Hearts, from the Sucrea range of 2D sugar shapes, which come in a silvery fuschia pink. These are the latest addition to Unifine’s selection of shimmering Glamour ingredients.

As with their counterparts in the existing 2D sugar shape range, they can be used for inclusions in biscuit and cake doughs or simply sprinkled on top of muffins, confectionery and ice cream.

“All 2D sugar shapes maintain their integrity throughout the baking process,” claims Unifine. “So while you can melt your customers’ hearts, our company’s sugar version won’t even bleed.”

Unifine’s chocolate hearts selection comes in four varieties: Plain Chocolate Heart, suitable for decorating cakes or adding to Valentine’s biscuits, pastries and ice-cream; Chocolate Red Heart, with pink edges and raised heart-shaped designs, decreasing in size to the centre and Duo Heart, with a pink centre set in a dark chocolate frame.

For lovers with more lofty aspirations, there’s a plain chocolate Valentine’s assortment – heart-shaped medallions of dark chocolate with a crisp snap and carrying special messages, such as ‘My Valentine’, in white chocolate script.

Both coloured and standard chocolate hearts are made from genuine Belgian chocolate. All products are available from your usual supplier or Unifine on 01908 260610.
