Meurens Natural Launches New Range of Improvers

 

Meurens Natural launched a new range of rice and oat syrups with a wide variety of functionalities, as sweetening, flavouring, natural colouring, texture, crunch, for biscuits, breakfast products, drinks, desserts, sauces and fruit preparations.

Thanks to a natural production process that involves no refining and hydrolysis of the whole cereal and not just the starch as in conventional glucose production processes, it is possible to preserve the original characteristics of the raw materials – flavour, colour and minerals- to the maximum.

This production process allows us to make even more powerful statements as to the natural properties: ‘unrefined rice syrup’ or ‘unrefined barley syrup’ instead of ‘sugar’ or ‘glucose syrup’.

The amount of information on the labels can be reduced thanks to the different functionalities guaranteed by one single syrup.

The absence of refining processes means that we benefit from a simple, natural and environmentally-friendly production process. It also means that we are not forced to use chemical additives or ion-exchange resins for demineralising sweetened or fruit juices.
