Gregg’s has reported an increase in sales following a marketing push of its breakfast products.
The Newcastle, UK, based bakery has announced a 0.6 per cent rise in like-for-like sales with total sales rising 2.6 per cent for the period up to May 8.
More than £2 million breakfast rolls have been sold since their launch in February.

And with a staggering one million customers visiting more then 1,400 shops nationwide, the bakers is now focussed on opening a further 50 outlets.
Plans for a new production facility in Wiltshire are also in the pipeline as well as new products to further target the breakfast market.
