BRC Awards Hand-Decorated Gingerbread and Cookie Manufacturer
Image on Food Ltd, hand-decorated ginger bread biscuits and cookie specialists, have been awarded ‘AA’ standard in a recent food safety audit by the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
The BRC is the leading brand and consumer protection organization, representing the whole range of retailers, and used by over 23,000 certified suppliers in 123 countries. The BRC Standard is recognized by all major retailers and is a proven, audited system.
Paul Ruscoe, production manager at Image on Food Ltd, said, “AA is the highest achievable grade awarded by the BRC and we are all absolutely delighted with our achievement. The rating confirms our ongoing commitment to meeting the highest standards of food safety, site standards and personnel, plus product and process control, at Image on Food. We hope this accreditation will ensure complete confidence in our products, service and standards from our customers.”
Image on Food Ltd is currently celebrating their 30th year in business. The company makes over 50 tons of gingerbread a year, employs over 50 local staff, and provides novelties for companies such as Waitrose, John Lewis and The National Trust as well as coffee shops, farm shops, delicatessens and tourist attractions.
