Global fats and oils supplier opens facility in Asia

IOI-Loders Croklaan Asia has opened its new Creative Studio in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.

The studio was officially launched by IOI Group Executive Director Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor and more than 100 delegates from 20 countries witnessed this opening ceremony.

According to Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor: “The Creative Studio Asia is an outcome of a successful penetration of this concept in our European facility. The Creative Studio concept which allows product developers to work closely with technical experts under one roof has successfully created opportunities for product innovations in the European market. This imposing support has lead to establishing this second Creative Studio here, which, in fact, is the first of this kind in Asia”.

The Creative Studio Asia in Pasir Gudang, Johor, has a laboratory area with the required equipment, a tasting facility and a brainstorming room. The Creative Studio is specially designed for accelerated product innovation, creativity and co-creation in the confectionery sector and would reduce time to market of new products. Next to confectionery, the Creative Studios is also available for other product developers active in the bakery-, dairy- and culinary sector, who have a specific oil or fat related project in mind.
