The Cornish Bakery among Lloyds Bank’s National Business Awards Finalists

The Cornish Bakery has been shortlisted as a finalist for the National Business Awards in the Employer of the Year category.

Now in their 17th year, the National Business Awards has a long-standing history of celebrating the best of British business and it recognizes companies who are driving exceptional growth across the country.

The shortlist was finalized after more than 1,000 registrations were assessed against each category’s criteria, according to the organizer. The Awards include categories such as The Customer Focus Award, The Digital Business of the Year, The Employer of the Year, etc.

Sarah Austin, brand director of The Lloyds Bank National Business Awards explained: “All entries faced a rigorous judging process, which is why the awards are an accolade to true, world-class achievements, offering businesses the credibility and encouragement to continue in their ambitious success. Due to the high-level of competition witnessed this year, all finalists should feel incredibly proud.”

The company has 45 stores across the UK and has recently opened new shops in Fowey, York, Keswick and Southwold. The finalists must make their presentations to a panel of judges and leading business luminaries, after which the winners will be revealed on November 13, at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
