Corbion Announces New Member of Its Supervisory Board

Corbion’s supervisory board had announced it has nominated Ilona Haaijer to be appointed to the supervisory board for a four-year term as of the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) in May 2020.

Haaijer brings extensive experience in senior global leadership roles in multinational companies. Among others, she was president and CEO of DSM Food Specialties and president of DSM Personal Care at Royal DSM. She was CEO of Philips AVENT and VP Corporate Strategy for Royal Philips Electronics. Prior to that, Haaijer was active as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Currently, she is a supervisory board member at Royal Boskalis. Haaijer has an international career and lived in several other countries besides The Netherlands. 

The supervisory board expressed their delight that Haaijer would further strengthen its expertise with her in-depth knowledge of the global food and ingredients industries; her appointment will also further enhance the diversity of the board. Subject to approval by the AGM, Haaijer’s appoinemnt will be effective after the AGM held on May 11, 2020.
