IBIE Preview: Lesaffre Showcases Clean Label Solutions

What can visitors expect to find at your booth at this edition of IBIE and what is your current focus for the US market?  

Bill Hanes: We will be featuring several of our new products including an Enzyme based MDG replacer, Sourdough solutions and Clean Label dough conditioners.

Please reflect on the challenges the industry faces and the trends that are impacting demand and product development.

Bill Hanes: Consumers in the U.S. are reading labels looking for products that do not contain ingredients they cannot pronounce or understand. Lesaffre has done a significant amount of work developing enzyme based solutions to help bakers remove these chemicals from their recipes and clean up their labels.
