IMCD Opens New Technical Center in Türkiye

IMCD Group opened a new Technical Centre in Istanbul, Türkiye. Designed as a strategic hub, the Centre delivers formulation development, optimisation of existing commercial products, technical consultancy, and hands-on support for customers’ innovation pipelines.

The IMCD Türkiye Technical Centre, opened in Ataşehir, Istanbul, consolidates the food & nutrition, beauty & personal care, and coatings & construction laboratories – previously operating from separate locations – into a single, expanded facility with enhanced scope and technical equipment. In addition, a pharmaceuticals laboratory has been established within the Centre for the first time, further strengthening its technical and innovation capabilities.

The Centre adds to IMCD’s global network of more than 80 technical centres and laboratories, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to innovation and local customer support.

The Food & Nutrition Applications Laboratory combines global trend insights with technical expertise to support manufacturers in developing innovative food and beverage solutions. Serving key segments including dairy, bakery, beverages, confectionery, and meat & savoury applications, the laboratory focuses on optimising taste, texture, nutritional value, and functionality. The facility provides formulation development, pilot trials, ingredient optimisation, and ready-to-use prototype concepts.
