Brabender Sets New Divisional Structure

 

The Brabender Food Division sets a new divisional structure managed by a new team. 

Markus Löns, who has been with Brabender for more than 14 years, most recently held the position of national and international sales director. In his new position as director of the food division, he has been responsible for the global food business unit since the end of 2016.

He will be assisted in this endeavor by Jürgen Willmann, who joined the Brabender team in October 2016. As sales director food, he now heads national and international sales. He previously worked in the same capacity for Zeppelin Systems. In his new position, he assumes, among other tasks, the sales control of the local sales agencies and the development of new markets. Furthermore, he is the contact person for all sales related questions, the company announced.

Providing technical advice for international Brabender customers, the application lab food has been led by Jessica Wiertz since July 2016. “As a qualified food technologist with experiences in quality assurance and laboratory management, she supports customers with the developments of methods, with application trainings and more,” Brabender’s announcement details.

Aiming at offering customer orientation and support, the new team at the top of the Brabender food division is in place for new and existing clients.

The Brabender is known as the world market leader in rheological and other laboratory analysis in the grain, flour, bakery industry as well as in other sectors of the food industry where quality control and R&D are major issues.
