Bridor Invests in a New Manufacturing Site in the US

Bridor announced its investment in a new production site near Salt Lake City, in the state of Utah. Bridor makes premium-quality bread and Viennese pastries, sold in over 100 countries and aimed at hotel, catering and retail professionals. Bridor already has four plants in North America, including two in the United States (Connecticut and New Jersey).

With this major investment of nearly EUR200m (2024-2029), Bridor pursues its strong global growth and underlines the commitment of LE DUFF Group to speed up its development in the industrial bakery sector.

“This factory will enable Bridor to meet the specific needs of the American market by having a production site close to its regional customers”, specifies Philippe MORIN, CEO of Bridor. It will propose a wide range of artisanal breads and Viennese pastries designed specifically for the American market.

Construction will begin in autumn 2024 and should be completed by the end of 2025. Production will be operational in January 2026.

It will lead to the creation of 300 new jobs, between operators, bakers, engineers and quality controllers. Through its Training Academy, Bridor will provide its new talents with essential know-how to make premium artisanal products on an industrial scale.

“We are doubling our turnover every five years. This new project in North America is a key part of this strategy because this market has great potential. Bridor’s success is built on the perfect combination of traditional know-how and industrial excellence. We will continue to exploit these two skills to propose high-quality products to the North American market”, said Philippe MORIN.
