Fazer Concludes Organizational Restructuring

Fazer has concluded collaboration negotiations in support functions within the Group in Finland in order to simplify its organization and clarify roles in certain support functions for the improvement of strategy execution.

According to the company, Fazer will create value and strengthen its position in Finland while establishing a stronger position in Northern Europe and beyond.

Fazer has combined roles, reallocated responsibilities, reorganized reporting relationships and reduced overlaps in Group Management, Fazer Services and Fazer Bakery Finland to improve overall efficiency and the customer experience throughout the organization.

In addition, Fazer is reorganizing HR across the Group into country-specific and functional centers of excellence.

The collaboration negotiations started in May 2020 concerning 78 employees, and were concluded with the termination of 11 roles as well as changes in the organizational structure, in roles and responsibilities and in the reporting structure.
