IMCD to Strengthen Iberian Food & Beverage Position with Acquisition of Ferrer Alimentación

IMCD N.V. has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Ferrer Alimentación, S.A. and Medir Ferrer Y Compañía, S.A., marking a strategic move to bolster its food and beverage business across Iberia.

Founded in 1955, Ferrer Alimentación is a prominent distributor of food ingredients in Spain and Portugal, serving the bakery, dairy, beverages, meat and specialised nutrition sectors. With EUR112m in annual revenue and a team of 37, the company brings an extensive portfolio, strong supplier partnerships, and a well-positioned logistics hub.

The deal is expected to close by the end of June, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
