Every new year starts with new plans, new ideas, new strategies and the most important new hopes, business-wise as well as on a personal level. At the start of 2018, at the core of our plans is to better inform you, and offer you opportunities to stand out.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest project: the new www.worldbakers.com, the brand-new website where you can find exclusive features, insights from the bakery industry, and a selection of the most important news in this business, now in a more comprehensive structure.
We have worked on compiling a more intuitive and user-friendly website, with a smart design and complete industry coverage.
Our revamped concept for www.worldbakers.com brings new article categories for in-depth features focusing on each aspect of business and manufacturing. The first new category is “Processes”, which includes in dedicated subsections all the essential steps of baking – mixing, forming, proofing, baking, monitoring, automation, cooling & freezing, conveying and packaging. Here, our readers can find exclusive features on these processes and their corresponding equipment solutions, as well as new technology innovations.
The second new category is “Products”, with information about the main product categories, sorted by: bread, pastry, biscuits, snacks, specialty products and confectionery.
In addition, we decided to include a new zone dedicated to ingredients, which will refer to flour, flavors, fillings, sweeteners, functional and nutritional ingredients. This move reflects our focus in line with the importance of this side of the business.
Furthermore, information related to industry trends, consumer preferences and geographical-oriented dynamics can now be found in our new category, “Markets”.
Our regular sections “Business”, “Events”, “Blog” and “Whitepapers” will continue to bring news, opinions and technical articles. Head on to “Whitepapers” for a fresh addition, on ingredients: “From ancient grains and pseudocereals to modern flour”!
The most important articles from all these sections will be highlighted by the “WB Special Features” section, where readers will find exclusive in-depth articles and interviews.
Our print magazines, European Baker & Biscuit and Asia Pacific Baker & Biscuit, and digital magazine, World Bakers Digital, can be accessed via their dedicated sections, and the latest issue is displayed on the homepage. A new issue of World Bakers Digital is launched with this occasion.
Finally, we have also redesigned our weekly newsletter, part of our complete digital makeover project. The first newsletter containing a new structure and richer content goes out on January 4. In the meantime, subscribe to our newsletter here!
May all your plans come true in 2018!
