Tromp Bakery Equipment Welcomes New Managing Director

Coen Nikkels is the new managing director with Tromp Bakery Equipment, the company recently announced.

Since the takeover by the Markel Bakery Group (AMF Baking Systems) in July 2012, Ken Newsome – CEO has managed Tromp Bakery Equipment in Gorinchem. Supporting the controlled growth, controlling the daily logistics and managing the organization, Coen Nikkels now takes over Ken’s task as Managing Director.

Of course there will still be regular contact between the USA and Gorinchem.

Tromp Bakery Equipment, supplier of high-quality production lines for the international bakery industry, is in full swing. In order to be able to meet today’s and future demands of international customers, the production capacity has been increased significantly.

In the context of the development of even better service and innovative products, last spring the Tromp Innovation Center was inaugurated. These developments contribute to the completion of a structured growth.

The appointment of Coen Nikkels as Managing Director fully fits in with the vision of a further development of Tromp Bakery Equipment. For the time being he will also remain active as Sales & Marketing Director.

Apart from Coen, the management team of Tromp Bakery Equipment now consists of: Kees van der Plaat, Operational Manager, Leon de Hoogh, Improvement Manager/IT and Caroline Prommenschenckel, Finance.
