GNT is set to showcase its plant-based EXBERRY colors through an interactive snack bar experience at Food Ingredients Europe (Fi Europe) in Frankfurt from November 19-21, 2024. The company, known for its natural food colorings derived from fruits, vegetables, and plants, will offer attendees a chance to create their own colorful snack selections.
EXBERRY colors, made using sustainable methods from non-GMO sources, can deliver a wide range of shades suitable for various food and beverage applications, while supporting clean ingredient labeling. At GNT’s booth (3.1G32), visitors will be invited to craft personalized EXBERRY potato chips, choosing from six different seasonings that offer both on-trend flavors and vibrant colors.
Petra Thiele, Sales Director EMEA at GNT, highlighted the importance of EXBERRY colors for food and beverage manufacturers. “EXBERRY colors are trusted by leading brands to provide vibrant, stable shades,” Thiele said. “We’re excited to showcase how these plant-based colors can inspire creative, eye-catching products that stand out on the shelf.”
In addition to the snack bar, GNT will present its latest coloring solutions across a variety of food and beverage applications. Experts from the company will be available to discuss market trends and tailor-made solutions for individual project needs.
GNT’s sustainability efforts will also be highlighted at the event. In 2022, the company set 17 goals aimed at improving its environmental and social impacts by 2030. These include training contract farmers in sustainable practices and reducing the environmental footprint of EXBERRY products by 25%. The company was awarded an EcoVadis silver medal last year and became the first food color supplier to release a third-party verified Greenhouse Gas Verification Statement.
“Sustainability is at the core of our vision,” said Rutger de Kort, GNT’s Sustainability Manager. “With a strong supply chain in place and family ownership, we are well-positioned to deliver high-quality, sustainable colors for the future.”
